Nichole has been unable to visit the lab since the University was shut down in the Spring. We are happy to report that she is now back to her research. This semester she will be studying a very weird and interesting gene called fushi tarazu. She is really hoping to figure out what the function of this gene is in tardigrades. Her and her lab mates will be rotating in the lab to ensure that we can all social distance. Many other additional precautions are in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Welcome back, Nichole!
